SIGNS THAT INDICATE BAD SIGHT
Changes in poor eyesight in children are not always immediately apparent. However, there are a number of signs that indicate that a child may have impaired sight. These are:
- Squinting
- Frequent eye rubbing
- Lack of eye contact
- Burning eyes
- Blink
- Frequent headaches
- Too close writing distance in school
- Concentration problems
- Nervousness
- Loss of performance due to myopia
It is therefore advisable to consult an ophthalmologist at these first signs in order to counteract ametropia as early as possible.
